I Miss Bridals!!!!

So I am finally getting these up from my little sister's wedding in March. A couple of days before their wedding we went up to Salt Lake City and hit some of my old stomping grounds from when I used to live there. As I was editing these I remembered how much I love shooting bridals! It is really popular in Utah, in fact almost every bride does a bridal. What is a bridal, you may ask? It is kind of like a dry run for your wedding day. You get all dressed up in your dress, get your hair done, make up, a bouquet...everything, and we go out to an awesome location and you are model for the day :)

I loved shooting bridals! But here in California it is not as popular. So...BRIDES OF CALIFORNIA...let's do some bridals!!!!

Beautiful Heather

Heather wanted pictures on the beach. You never have to twist my arm to go to the beach. It was a beautiful day! I got down there really early, so I decided to take a quick trip over to Balboa Island. I was on cloud 9! I still haven't gotten used to the fact that I live in California again and I am less than an hour away from some of my favorite places in the whole wide world! I called my parents and bragged about where I was and they were jealous, that was mean, I know, but I couldn't help it. I even got my FAVORITE "hippo" cookies at Dad's. You have to try them, they are fantastic! Then I went over to Laguna Beach for Heather's bridals. She is such a stunning bride, beautiful! I can't wait for her wedding on Saturday!

Stephanie's Bridals

I was so happy with how these images came out. Stephanie is such a beautiful, so it wasn't very hard to take a beautiful picture. These were taken at Wheeler Farm, it has been one of my very favorite places to shoot while I lived in Utah, so many fun hidden places. Stephanie didn't get to do bridals before she got married, so while I was back in Utah we decided it was the perfect opportunity. Enjoy!

Sara's Bridals

I had so much fun with Sara. Seriously, most of the shoot we were just hanging out and talking, she is such a sweet heart! But we did get some awesome shots. Sara is already married, but she never got bridals done, that was nice because she wasn't really worried about getting her dress dirty so she was up for anything. At one point I had her on the edge of a hill and I thought that I could get down lower on the hill. Not so much, you should have seen me sliding down the hill. It was pretty funny.

Whitney's Bridals

Whitney is such a beautiful bride! I had so much fun with Whitney and her mom and sister. We started at the International Peace Gardens, we had a few raindrops, but it cleared up after awhile and was beautiful. Then we went down to the lake. Minus the bugs, it was so beautiful. At Saltair they were taping a movie, after we left, we found out it is starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn!!!! Whatever...anyone that knows me knows I am the most star struck person ever! Had I known, we would have wandered around a little more. The movie is called The Tree of Life, we'll have to see how the Great Salt Lake looks in it.
Anyways...these are some of my favorites from the day. I am so excited for Whitney's wedding in Logan and Bear Lake next week!
