King Family

My heart just aches for this sweet family. Their beloved dog, Hershey, had cancer and they wanted to get one last family photo. You would have NEVER been able to tell that Hershey was so sick, she ran around on the beach, tired to chase the birds, everything a perfectly healthy dog would do. As we were finishing our session we were talking about how Hershey was their first child and such an integral part of the family, I had a giant lump in my throat as I left and I prayed for a miracle. Unfortunately, I heard that Hershey lost her battle this last week. I truly hope that these pictures are a comfort.

The Hunt Family

We are now deep into family portrait season and so you will be seeing a lot of family portraits on the blog for the next little while. The first are the Hunt Family. Love this family, they were one of my very first clients after we moved to California. They are just such a cute, fun family. Check out some of my favorites from their shoot.

Tara: Graduating!

Another awesome senior! I had so much fun with Tara. I have really been so lucky with my senior this year. I love it!

Kevin and Megan: Engaged!

I met up with Kevin and Megan early Halloween morning for their engagement session. They were such troopers when I told them we would want to start at 8am. Wow, that was early. But we had such a blast. Can't wait for their wedding in January!
